So, I’ve been up since 545 this morning because with the absolutely freezing temperatures, yesterday my car decided it wasn’t going to start. Fun? Not at all! When I got home from work yesterday Ryan and I went and got a new battery for my car (it was time) and then we spent the next half an hour trying to put it in, in -40 temperatures. The screw holding the battery holder thingy in was rusted so badly it wouldn’t even turn and, because we’d made plans to go to the movies for 6, we had to abandon our efforts meaning that this morning I had to drive Ryan to work so I could have his car for the day. Since 545 this morning I have made supper for tonight, finished decorating the tree, and tidied up the house. Normally by this time on a day off I’d still be sitting on the couch watching Gilmore Girl but in just a few minutes I’m heading to the airport to pick up my mom and step-dad who are coming to spend Christmas with us! š
Here are my most memorable moments from the past week š
- On Friday evening, Ryan and I went to Wacky’s for drinks with a some people we used to work at Walmart with. It’s been a few years since we’ve really talked to any of them and it was so amazing to catch up! I forgot how amazing they are and I have vowed that it will be a lot less shorter than 3 years before we see each other again!
- Last night we went to see Rogue One and I FELL ASLEEP! I was so exhausted from the past week being so busy that I missed a good 20 minutes of the movie sleeping. That’s okay though because we just found out that the theater has D-BOX and I’m already planning on going to see it again!
- We finally finished decorating our tree (I think we may win some sort of prize for taking the longest time to decorate our tree)
- In 10 minutes I leave for the airport! š
