Engagement sessions are one of my favourite things to photograph! I love getting to share such a special time with my couples; you get to be married for a lifetime but you only have a short time to be finances! That’s one of the reasons I believe everyone needs an engagement session; this time marks the transition between boyfriend and girlfriend to husband and wife. It’s filled with anticipation, excitement, and celebration and it truly is a time to celebrate so why not commemorate it!
When Jen contacted me about doing an engagement session for her and Josh I was so excited even though it was months away! As the days drew closer I crossed my fingers and toes wishing for and willing good weather for their session! Since Jen and Josh are from out of town and were only in town for a short time visiting family there would be very few (if any) chances to reschedule. Thankfully, the weather cooperated (mostly) and we were even lucky enough to experience some dreamy evening light!
It was wonderful to spend the evening with Jen and Josh celebrating their engagement! They were a dream to work with, complete naturals in front of the camera, and can we just take a minute to talk about how cute their outfits are?! Especially Jen’s dress!
