Summer Wedding at Stepstone

Happy Wednesday, friends! l’m so excited to share last weekends wedding with you! Spoiler alert: it contains soooo many new favourites. Prepare to fall in love, and don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Set out at the always lovely Stepstone, and decorated with greenery, fresh florals and touches of gold from Velvet Rope Floral Design, Jamie and Troy’s wedding was a perfect representation of who they are as a couple: simple, elegant, and natural.

While there were so many things I loved about Jamie and Troy’s wedding day (the beautiful venue, the prettiest florals and elegant decor, Jamie’s stunning Watters gown and the mouthwatering treat display, to name a few) the thing I loved most was that Jamie and Troy made their wedding day their own — a true reflection of their love and who they are as a couple. From a short but sweet ceremony by the Current River surrounded by their closest family and friends to their choice not to have a formal wedding party and to, instead, spend their morning with their closest friends, it was evident that Jamie and Troy’s wedding was meant to be about exactly what a wedding should be about: love. Love for their family and friends and, most importantly, their love for each other.

Jamie and Troy, thank you for trusting me to capture such a special day in your lives. it was a true honour and a pleasure to get to know you. I wish you nothing but love, laughter, and many more beautiful memories as you start this next chapter of your lives together husband and wife.
