A sealed envelope with the words ‘congratulations’ written on it hung on their fridge. For three weeks it sat there, tempting them every time they went to get something from the fridge. This very special envelope contained the results telling them whether they’d be having a little boy or a little girl. Coral and Keith wanted to save the results to share with their family and friends at their wedding so they resisted peeking (although, from what I’ve heard, a certain someone did hold the envelope up to the window). To add to the temptation, a beautiful cake designed by Sweet Escape sat on the table in the reception for everyone to see. I can safely say I have never seen a bride and groom so excited to cut their cake (and never have I ever been so excited for a cake cutting)!
During the sweetest cake cutting, Coral and Keith finally found out the results in that envelope! As they pulled the piece of cake away from the rest of the cake they were greeted by pink icing that told them they were having another little girl! To confirm that the red from the icing of the cake hadn’t accidentally mixed with the white icing, pink balloons were released! As the balloons floated though the tent, they mixed with the excited cheers and congratulations from their family and friends! Coral jumped up and down excitedly, embraced by family and friends and Keith looked like he just found out he’s having another girl!
Coral and Keith’s day was perfect in every way. They did such a beautiful job of incorporating everything that they hold near and dear to their heart. Hosted out at the beautiful Stepstone, their colour scheme was red, black, white, and gold to represent their heritage. Jenna from Daydreams Event Design did a wonderful job designing all of the special elements that would bring their vision to life, accented by white, red, and gold bouquets from Bloomers and the Brownhouse that couldn’t have been a better fit for their day!
Congratulations, Coral and Keith on both your marriage and the news of your little girl! You two are already amazing parents to Keiyata and your little girl to be as lucky to have you as mom as dad as you are to have each other as husband and wife! Thank you for asking me to share this special day with you! I wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and beautiful memories! <3
