It’s hard to believe it’s been almost a year since I visited home and got to see these two but we definitely made up for lost time on Saturday when Sierra, Kevin, Ryan, and I went and spent the day in Niagara Falls. We tried our hand at an escape room, which we didn’t escape from (I don’t feel the least bit upset about this because only 17% of people who try the room actually manage to escape and we made it about 80% of the way through!) followed by the most delicious supper at Bravo! (if you ever happen to be in Niagara Falls check it out, you won’t be disappointed).
After we stuffed our selves silly with garlic bread, pasta, and pizza (because what else would you eat before a photo shoot) we headed down to this adorable path by the falls to take some pictures! We had walked by it earlier and, with all the flowers and trees in full bloom, I knew that was where we just HAD to take pictures!
You wouldn’t know it by the pictures but it was nearly dark out by the time we got down there; dark storm clouds loomed overhead threatening to pour rain on us at any second! I really had to hustle to get all the pictures that I wanted to get before what little light there was went away completely.
Sierra was my first “model” with our first “photoshoot” taking place just after I bought my first camera (they are so embarrassing to look back at!); at the time she had wanted to be a model and I wanted to be a photographer—it was a win win. Things have changed a little since then but Sierra is still my favourite model, and it’s even more awesome when we get to throw Kevin in to the mix for a full on couple’s session! I got to try out some new things I have learned over the last 6 months and I am so EXCITED with the results!
