In 2016 I was hesitant to put together a ‘Best Of’ post. I felt my work was good, but it wasn’t quite where I wanted to be, there was always something missing.
I loved every couple I had the opportunity to work with during that year but felt I didn’t really have anything I would call my ‘best’ work. Because of this, I strived to make 2017 my year of growth.
Starting in November 2016 I went to a big photography conference in Arizona, attended a photography workshop in January, and invested a lot in my education in many other ways. For as much as 2016 was a year of establishing my business, 2017 was my year for growing my business and really finding myself as a photographer.
Having this chance to go back and look through all that I accomplished in 2017 I can truly and honestly say I have grown so much as a photographer and I was actually excited to go through all of my sessions from this past year and put together not one, but two(!!) best of posts!
I had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful couples this year and working with some of my favourite clients for a second time. This post is to honour the best of my engagement/couple/and family sessions from the past year!
Thank you to all of my wonderful clients who have made 2017 a year I will never forget! I am truly grateful for each and everyone of you for allowing me in to your lives and to capture such special moments! <3
