I feel like I talk about the weather in all of my posts but it was because of the weather Michele and Steve’s engagement session almost didn’t happen; I am so glad it did! After rescheduling three times because of heavy rain, on Monday morning we finally had a day where the weather was perfect and the three of us hiked in to the Cascades to get some pictures in before their wedding!
I don’t always share my couples engagement stories but I just have to share Michele and Steve’s because it is every little girls dream come true! Spoiler alert: it involves Disney, carriages, and an beautiful amethyst ring that couldn’t be any more perfect for Michele! Steve proposed to Michele during their trip to Florida. Since they’re both avid runners, Steve had been planning on proposing to Michele after they crossed the finish line of a marathon they were running together but his plans changed when he saw carriages parked outside their Disney resort. The next night, after convincing Michele to dress up they went on a magical carriage ride where Steve asked Michele the question she had been waiting to hear “Do you know how you always call me a pain in the ass, how would you like me to be a permanent pain in your ass?” Michele obviously said yes!
Michele and Steve are seriously in love! As the sun shown down on them, birds chirped merrily in the background, and butterflies fluttered around them they cuddled, stole kisses between frames and giggled the whole time! You can feel the love these two have for each other and while it may have taken them longer to find each other it was definitely worth the wait! I can’t wait to spend this Saturday with them and their family and friends as they celebrate their union and become husband and wife!
