She walks through the row of trees, holding her dress up as she goes so she won’t collect too many pine needles in the hem of her dress. Her groom stands impatiently blindfolded in the middle of the trees, waiting for his bride to remove his purple blindfold. She gently takes his hand and spins him around, and he bends down just a little so she can remove his blindfold, because even in the tiniest things like that Chris is thoughtless. His eyes light up when he sees her, and a peaceful and joyous smile crosses his face. Jana is clearly as enamored with him as he is with her. They kiss and look each other over, Jana examining Chris’ tie and pocket square. They take a few moments to themselves, everything is quiet and you can feel the happiness and excitement radiating off them. They turn to me and ask, what now? Now they get married!
Jana and Chris are adorable and the biggest and most genuine sweethearts you’ll ever meet. I had such a blast photographing their wedding and spending the day with them and their closest friends and family. As in every post, I really could go on and on about every detail of the day because it all really is so spectacular. But I’ll leave you with the pictures, because a picture is worth a thousand words.
