After a hiatus from blogging, I cannot think of a better way to get back in to the swing of things than with this glamourous, sparkly New Years Eve wedding!
When I first met with Tavia and she was describing her vision for hers and Alan’s wedding day I got major heart eyes from the moment she began talking! She wanted gold and pink with lots of sparkle and it’s no secret that I love all three of those things! Not to mention I melted the moment she posted a picture on Instagram letting us all know that she #justgotpaiged Hayley Paige is my absolute favourite dress designer and I couldn’t picture a more beautiful bride to be wearing one of those soft and feminine designs!
April from Silk and Cedar did the most beautiful job bringing Tavia and Alan’s vision to life! Inside the Valhalla Ballroom sat tables decked out in rose gold sequins with beautiful centrepieces of feathers and white roses. The ceiling was draped with twinkle lights and white fabric and over the dance floor, where Tavia and Alan had their first dance, was a gold and crystal chandelier.
As beautiful as the day was, nothing compared to how absolutely stunning Tavia and Alan were! Their love for each other just radiated throughout the whole day. The love and support they provide for each other couldn’t have been more evident both in the day itself and the time leading up to it.
Tavia and Alan, thank you for asking me to capture your big day! It was such a pleasure working with you and seeing the love you have for each other and those around you made your day that much more special! I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend my New Year’s Eve than seeing you two become husband and wife!
